My I phone X won’t connect to wifi
My boyfriend is on an oil rig where all of his collegues are connected to the WiFi, his iPhone X won’t connect

I would investigate deeply talking to his company's IT supervisor. It could be a restriction coming from their router, or a DHCP lease to be activated.
