A lot of people are posting with the same error.
Do you have access to another network where you can try to log in? That has worked for several people.
What has also worked for some is trying 10 + times in a row.
Try a restart.
Try a forced restart.
When you try to sign in you get a verification number pop up on the iPad, but when you type it in to the phone it just says can’t verify.
As said I tried with my ID and verified fine and accessed my i tunes account, so iPhone and WiFi working fine!
You are welcome. I understand your ID is working okay, but based on posts I've read, sometimes another network works. I have personally witnessed it. A phone that could access the Internet, couldn't verify on the house WiFi, but worked fine on an another network.
When you say 'the Apple ID on the iPad won't verify on the iPhone,' what do you mean?
Thanks however because I can log in to the iPhone with my Apple ID, I think actual phone and network are fine
Could the issue be that we’re trying to set the iPhone up without a sim?
I didn’t think it would matter as the updates can be sorted via WiFi & the intended sim doesn’t have much mobile data ava
