activation lock

ive recently come back to an iphone 5c of mine its been activation locked i know my apple id and my password but i need to reset password when i log in on apple id it states to send an email to an address i dont have registered with the phone also when checking my new apple id it states the iphone is logged in on that one but i cant use it when trying on the phone any help would be great. i tried using security details but its not accepting my date of birth
