Macbook Pro 2017 screen deep scratch
My power supply somehow managed to bash into my screen and took a chuck out of my screen on my brand new MacBook Pro 15 inch. I'm really surprised at how easily this happened - the screen seems like a flimsy plastic film rather than the iPhone/previous MacBook/iPad glass screens I've had in the past. This is disappointing for a product costing £2347. I'm buying a £15 glass screen protector from Amazon which hopefully won't deteriorate the retina 4k screen image. Its a shame Apple don't recommend this or supply something more durable in the first place. I now have a 3mm blemish on an otherwise perfect screen which disappears on coloured backgrounds but stands out on white ones. I can't repair it and the only alternative is a £700 screen replacement. I suppose the other way of looking at it is that I could have had a cracked screen that would have rendered the machine unusable. Anybody else had this problem?
