Rename devices under Apple ID

How do I rename each device under my Apple ID? I’ve renamed the individual devices under general, about. But I now have three iPads listed as Ryan’s iPad under my Apple ID settings

Try signing out of the devices, then sign back in and try again. See if that works.

I’ve done that, it changed the name of the device on that individual device. When I look at my devices from my phone, mac, and iPad, the names have not changed. Still listing Ryan’s iPad 3 times. All of the devices share the same cloud account, so I did a hard backup on each device; but to no avail.
