Using Airpods with iPhone while wearing Apple Watch

If I’m listening to music with my Airpods connected to iPhone 7+ wearing Apple Watch series 2 ALL alerts/reminders/calendar events go to my Apple Watch. I turned off Apple Watch and alerts went through the Airpods as I THOUGHT they should? Is this normal? I’ve only had the Airpods two days.

Airpods Pro disconnects from Apple Watch when out of range of iPhone My wife has an apple watch 5 w/ cellular, airpods pro, and iphone 11. The second she is out of range on her iphone, the watch seems to drop her Airpods connection and she can't get it reconnected. Does she have to disconnect Airpods from her phone when she leaves the house / goes on a walk? Should be more seamless than this.

Airpod and Apple Watch Alerts I just got a new watch and want to receive wake up alarms only on my phone. I set the alarm on my watch, vibrate only. However, my airpod case is also vibrating when my alarm goes off. I do often fall asleep with one airpod in. How can I stop my airpods from vibrating with my watch.
