Question:

Question: Does cookie blocking cause Safari tabs to all close?

I had a number of tabs in Safari (iOs11) when I changed Safari’s cookie-blocking setting to ON.

Settings > Safari > Block All Cookies.

When I returned to Safari, all my tabs were closed/gone. And there was nothing under ”Recently Closed Tabs”.

Did setting the Block cause the tabs to all close?

Is there any way to restore them or to access the history?

It is possible as some Safari setting changes may require Safari to reset itself.

You can check Safari’s history panel, right next to Safari’s Bookmark panel to see If these website tabs history remained.

If no history is present and you didn’t bookmark these website tabs locations, they are gone.
