mcdonalds app wont accept mobile order and pay iphone x

why wont the macdonalds mobile order and pay work on iPhone X.? I can do the order , pick Apple Pay and the last step says double click on the icon. The icon is way to the right of my screen with just the left edge of the icon showing. The icon appears to bounce trying to get to the middle of the screen. It never appears far enough in to double click. I have reinstalled the app, everything is up to date, and Apple Pay at a reader works perfect. Any possible solutions?
