App Store won’t update apps

It makes life so much simpler if you just put a credit card in your Apple ID, but if you simply don't want to, read this link for help: Create or use your Apple ID without a payment method - Apple Support

I have a card on file and it still says I need to tap continue to verify billing info. Which I have done about a dozen times

I put my information in and got a text to see if my purchase was fraud I had 4 attempts and none of were mine.
