Why is there no cooperation between the Finder and Microsoft Word documents? I put in the Finder Name Contains a word in the title of a document I want to bring up, and the document doesn't show up. I have to go looking for it the hard way: by trying to remember the date of its origination, and where it might be in the myriad of folders created.

Date Word Doc Originally Created I have a MacBook Pro Late 2011. Version 10.13.6 I have Word for Mac 14.7.2 (170228). How do I find out when the document was originally created in Word. When I look in Finder there are 3 columns: Name, Kind, Date Last Opened. There is no date shown for when I wrote the original document. I usually put a date on the document itself, but I forgot to on this one and I need to know the date I wrote it. Since my laptop is so old I haven't been able to find out from looking through Apple's Help Options. Thank you for your time and help.

Finding a word in a document With Microsoft Word on my PC, there is the "find" feature so you can locate a word throughout the document. I cannot find this with Word on my Macbook Pro. Anyone know how to locate and use this "find," or search feature?

How to get my word documents Bought new Mac Air. Old Mac Air (2015) Word Docs not accessible. So, updated Word for Mac with new purchase 2021 Microsoft Office Home and Business. Can't find any of my old Word documents from Microsoft Office Home and Students Word program. How to incorporate/find old docs (access is blocked on my new Mac "unless updated" with a white circle with slash through icon. Suggestions?
