Incoming Calls not on Bluetooth - Apple Watch LTE

With my series 3 LTE, I will leave my iPhone at home. When I receive calls on the watch the call audio and mic are on the apple watch even though I have a bluetooth headset connected to the watch. I know the bluetooth is connected because I am listening to music on the watch.

When I make an outbound call, the bluetooth headset and speaker work just fine. It's just inbound calls that use the watch speaker and mic, which is annoying.

Is there anything I can do to rectify this?

I tried restarting it, but that didn't really do anything. I found a solution. I find if I press the mute button on my bluetooth headset to answer the call it goes to the bluetooth headset. However, if I answer it through the watch, it goes to the watch speaker.

HI. Have you tried restarting the Watch? Also see, with your phone, if you can change the orientation of how you are talking, to the bluetooth headset.
