Hello Community!
I am using iPhone X (iOS 11.2.6) with installed NordVPN app.
Everything runs smoothly except that after shut down/turn on the phone
pop-up appears and asks to type VPN password (see pic.).
Firstly, I would like if someone could explain to me -
why is this happening?
Secondly, if I click "Cancel" VPN works with no problem.
I'd searched the web but couldn't find any comprehensive answer.
Any help is welcome 🙂

vpn is short for virtuel private network it act as a tunnel across the internet making your device act as it's connected to a local network there, for security reasons one has to use a password and user name to access the virtuel private network
so the password is required and what the password is depend on the network you connect to read more

thank you for your answer.
I am NordVPN user (Mac, iPhone), and I've installed their iPhone app,
enter all credentials - otherwise I would not be able to connect at all,
and all is working fine.
Problem is that after turn off/on (not sleep) iPhone it shows beforementioned pop-up,
I don't enter anything in it, just press "Cancel" - and everything works.
Some may ask - what's the problem then?
But it bothers me, because It is happening for some reason,
and I can't find answer what the reason is - bug, glitch, settings...

Try another VPN I use Privcy Pro it never asks for password.
