Mac Mini super slow, lots of RAM used
My Mac mini is slow to the point of un-usability. When I restart and just have the browser open it's OK for a while, but as I add mail, a few new safari tabs and OpenOffice and maybe Pages it goes un-usable. It has 8GB of RAM, like my Mac Air at home, which handles all this load fine and then some. I need to have at least these programs/apps open and maybe a few more things at all times (occasionally Photoshop) as I need to flip back and forth among them. Below is my EtreCheck report run right after a recent restart. Even only with a few things open it says I have used 6.14GB RAM..almost 80% for a couple of browser windows and OpenOffice! Please help.
