iCloud updates on different devices

I have an iPhone and an iPad. Ive been updating playlists and my Apple Music library on both devices and usually my iPad is update but my iPhone isn’t updating to the same playlists on my Apple Music. And I have iCloud turned on. What can I do?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding your Apple Music playlists aren't updating on your iPhone. Confirming iCloud Music Library was on was a great first step! I'm happy to help.

Make sure both devices have a strong internet connection. If the issue persists, I recommend following the remaining steps below:

First, restart your iOS device.

If you still can't see it after the restart:

  1. Turn off iCloud Music Library and then turn it back on.
  2. Sign out of the iTunes Store and then sign back in.
