Videos Not Showing Up Under Home Sharing

Does anyone know why some videos may not show up in Home Sharing? 😕

I have several videos on my iMac and have Home Sharing enabled in iTunes.

I have two Apple TVs.

All the videos I have in iTunes can be accessed and played on my iMac just fine.

However, three of those videos do not show up on my Apple TVs. 😮

All the other videos can be seen and played just fine on my Apple TVs.

Does anyone have an idea why I can see all the videos just fine but not those 3?

Big-time confused... 😕

I'm running 12.7.3.46 (the latest version) of iTunes and both my Apple TVs are running the latest firmware available for them.

I think I just discovered a bug in iTunes. 😢

1) I created back-ups of each of the videos that did not show up in iTunes.

2) I then went into iTunes and for each video that was not showing up, selected 'Delete From Library'.

3) I then deleted each video from the hard drive and emptied the trash.

4) I then copied the backups that I'd created in step 1) above back into my iTunes Library folder.

5) I then chose 'Add to Library' and navigated to each video I'd just copied.

All the videos now show up on my Apple TVs as expected.

Weird indeed! 😕
