notes only shows owners updates
I have created a note (in notes) & invited a friend. She can see any notes apphanges I make instantly however I cannot see any she makes.
Where am I going wrong? We both have notes one in iCloud settings.

I see that you are sharing an iCloud Note with a friend and she can see any changes that you make to the shared note, but you can't see any changes that she makes. I'll be happy to help.
Are you both using an iPhone? Per this support article: Share your notes I would make sure that you both have completed these steps:

Before you begin
- Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to the latest iOS, and your Mac to the latest macOS.
- Set up iCloud on all of your devices.
- Make sure that you’re signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices.
- Upgrade your notes so that you can use the latest features.
Everyone that you share with needs to update their device and notes too.
