On Iphone, mail item frozen. help ?

My Iphone had mail in item frozen.

After long (hours) while, it has cleared leaving a white screen headed Mailboxes with no tabs to leave other than 'Edit'

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), EMail v 8.2

I recommend you check out this article with steps for How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and close the Mail app. Once that is done, Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch then check to see if you are still noticing the issues.
