Brand new iPhone8 can’t open new apps?

Just got a brand new iPhone8 yesterday and was very excited to check out its new features until... they wouldn’t open. My clips, GarageBand, iTunes U, keynotes, pages, and numbers (all apps that come with the new phone) will not open.

I understand that you just got a brand new iPhone 8, but you are having an issue opening your apps. What exactly happens when you try to open an app, and do you receive any kind of error message?

I suggest trying the steps in this support article: If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open .
