If I use my late 2015 iMac (High Sierra 10.13.3) everyday, is it more efficient to keep it in sleep mode indefinitely?

Most people put iMacs to sleep rather than shutting them down.

Yes, I sleep my Mac's 24-7 and only restart them for updates or to startup from another drive.

My 2010 iMac has been in sleep mode since new with no issues. I only turn it off if I will be out of town.
