I bought an Applewatch3 on Facebook. The former owner gave me their old user name and password. They dont work to pair.

I bought an Apple Watch on Facebook. I have the previous owners user name and password, but it will not pair.

Old Apple Watch still saying it is connected to my Apple ID Hi, I have sold my old Apple Watch Series 3. I have deleted it from my list of devices as shown when I log into my Apple ID online. However, the watch is still asking for my Apple ID password and won't let the new owner link it to her phone/Apple ID. I have looked at the following information: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT205009 ... but since the watch is not listed as one of my devices, I don't know what to do next. Does anyone have any advice?

Return it and get your money back. There is no way to bypass the activation lock and the seller obviously wasn't bright enough to properly prepare it for sale or didn't actually own the watch they sold to you.
