Every time I open the TV app, I get a welcome screen and have to click continue

All of a sudden, if I open the TV app on the apple tv, I get the "Welcome to the TV App" screen and have to click continue to get into the app. It's like every time I open, it's like I am opening the app for the first time. It's very annoying to have to click an extra time just to get into the app. Anyone know the reason why this is happening? Please help! Thank you!

Apple TV app I absolutely hate this app. My Apple TV automatically opens this app and it is USELESS. It doesn't connect to what I was just watching. It lists things I would NEVER watch and there doesn't seem to be a way to specify that the tv NOT OPEN TO THIS APP. Every time I turn on my tv, I must hit the computer/tv icon on the remote to get to the apps page to open the app I was just watching - Netflix, Hulu, BritBox, etc. THIS APP IS USELESS AND I HATE IT AND HAVE FOR FREAKING YEARS!!!!!! Apple seems to know no way to avoid this. Does anyone know if I can just get it to open to the apps page where I can then access what I was just watching?

Apple TV app my Apple TV app will open but when so go to click “sign in” or start “free trial” the screen just goes to the load screen with the swirl. It is a brand new Sony Bravia TV with Apple TV app automatically installed on it. I have tried uninstalling the app, updating the app and resetting the app. Please advice what to do.
