iPhone 5 needs restore every time battery dies

Hi, my iPhone 5 needs a restore every time the battery goes completely dead and the phone shuts down. If I don't let it go dead and keep it charged its okay. If it drains to nothing then DFU mode and a restore is the only thing that gets it going again. Can anyone help ? thanks.

hi, i am trying to restore my iphone x using the up/down volume button and the side button, the apple logo appears but then the screen flashes and it dissapears My iphone shut down today, i thought it was just low battery but now am home and cannot recharge, i get the restore screen. when i try and restore (up/down volume then side button) the apple logo appears, screen flashes and then dissappears
