iPad can't find Apple tv

I have been trying for over 2 hours to get my iPad to find my Apple TV but nothing works. It was working fine up until I did a reset/restore factory settings on my Apple tv and that's when it all went south.

I have reset the router, restarted my iPad but it keeps searching for the Apple TV and can't find it,

i then tried with with my iPhone to see if it could find the Apple TV and the same problem. So the problem can't be with my iPad and iPhone but with the Apple TV.

Does anyone know what the problem can be. I have checked everything from the wifI network, making sure airplay is on but nothing works. I don't understand why because it worked fine up until I did a reset/restore factory settings. Ive checked for the latest software and all is up to date. Any assistance is very much appreciated.
