I can’t confirm my email adress while creating a new Apple ID account. when i press the link it takes me to the Apple website and nothing is happening

I have no idea what to do I bought an old iPhone 4S and tried to create an Apple ID to be able to download apps etc. but I can’t even log in to my account because I can’t confirm this email adress via this link that I’ve got in my email from Apple, this page just keeps loading

First, make sure that the email comes from Apple: Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

Apple email related to your Apple ID account always comes from appleid@id.apple.com. If you receive suspicious email, learn how to identify fraudulent email.

Not likely an issue, but it pays to be sure. How did you create your Apple ID? See this article for details on the proper steps and make sure that you followed them: Create and start using an Apple ID - Apple Support

Apple Support by e-mail or chat Select your device, Battery, Power and Charging, then Power adapter not working to get a chat option. If you need to talk to them, ask them if they will do a Skype or FaceTime with you.

I checked this email adress and it's correct. I created my Apple ID on the iPhone 4S through the settings>iTunes & App Store then I followed the instructions on the screen. I already tried to create this account twice with different email adresses because I thought that might be a problem but that didn't change anything.
