I dropped my MacBook Pro will apple fix it for free

I bought my MacBook Pro 6 months ago and I just dropped it. It works perfectly fine but there are vertical and horizontal lines on the screen and my shift button stopped working I think I messed up the hardware. I have the standard one year warranty will apple fix it for me and if not approx how much would it cost?

The standard warranty does not cover accidental damage.

As for cost, it is impossible to estimate from a brief online description, and we don't work for Apple, we are just users like you.

They might fix whatever they can for free as a courtesy at an Apple Store, but typically only if it doesn't require repair parts. Display issues can often be a dislodged connector, but not always. If the shift key is balky then they might be able to get it to work with with physical manipulation. However, what you have is accidental damage and not covered under warranty.
