IPad2 activation - why? And solutions?

My iPad2 ‘cannot be activated’ and suggests I contact Apple.com/uk/support which doesn’t seem to exist as a URL and I’m in Australia so why send me to Britain? I’ve tried all the suggestions on line - can anyone help. I’ve been blocked for a week
