iPhone 8 bluetooth not pairing with BackBeat FIT (Plantronics) headphones

Does anybody else have issues with pairing their iPhone 8 with BackBeat FIT wireless headphones (or other headphones)? It seems to pair fine with my bluetooth speakers. It has the most updated iOS 11.2.6 but it seems to not even pick up the signal from the headphones. I only just recently upgraded from iPhone 6 Plus - and the headphones worked find with my iPhone 6 Plus which is ironic considering iPhone 8 doesn't have an earphone jack so the wireless headphones will be more useful now than ever 😟

What did you do to fix this problem? I haven't been able to find any information on the Plantronics website that will help me fix this issue. My niece has exactly the same problem you describe. Worked on iPhone 6, can't get it working on iPhone 8.

Actually, I just discovered a way to pair it - it was a Plantronics problem not iPhone 8 *phew*

Could you tell me how you did it? I bought those headphones for my niece and she just upgraded to iPhone 8. Now she's not able to get them to pair. I'm trying to help her figure it out.
