iPad opens apps by itself

I won’t even be touching the iPad, it’s on a table, and it just items apps all on its own. I was just in Twitter and tha app was open but I wasn’t touching it, and it opened a screen to type a tweet! It also shuts down you tube videos mid way thru and starts the next video, all without touching the iPad. Seriously it’s possessed! It has the latest software release as I always update straight away, and I keep the apps updated as well. The screen is constantly cleaned, so it’s not a dirty screen causing it. I’ve booted it, powered it down etc. still the same.
