I have downloaded a Plug-in from Pixel Film Studio, this is my second purchase from PFS, the first plug-in works fine but after installing the second plug-in and trying to use it I keep getting a red screen with a exclamation mark in the yellow triangle, exactly the same as when a files missing but this happens with the plug-in instead. Are there any suggestions for a solution

What's the first image showing? The second one indicates that there is a missing generator, probably one that's built into the effect. You're using an older version of FCP that may not have the required generator, or the effect is poorly built and doesn't include the required generator. You'll have to contact the developer.
Hi there this is what happens when i hover the mouse over the plug in and when i put the plugin on a selected clip
Can you post a screenshot of the red icon. There are a lot of different ones for different causes. Or check the help document for error icons.
The first Pic shows the Effects catalogue and what happens when i hover the mouse over the plug in, i will try to upgrade my version of FCPX and see if it helps thanks for your help
