Screen sharing soooo slow...

I use screen sharing between two MBP’ and a MM headless machine. Both MBP’ are running 10.12.6 and the MM is running 10.6.8. I connect over a wired 10BaseT network and the machines are in the same building, not more that 10 meters apart. Connection is over a Router. And the cable-length between machines is less than 40 meters.

Connecting to the MM happens in a few seconds. Connecting in any direction to the other MBP takes sometimes over two minute. This was not the case in the past, where the speed was more or les identical in connecting in any direction. Does anybody have an idea as to how to fix this? Or what could cause it?

Thanks.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Also try the Safe Mode.

Safe Mode - About El Capitan
also Sierra

Safe Mode Startup – El Capitan. also Sierra

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown.
