Are you able to play sims 4 on a macbook

Sims 4 on Macbook touch bar 13inch 2017. I started playung and the fan became really loud. I don’t know if I should stop?

macbook pro starts heating up when I play games I have a macbook pro 13inch the 2017 model. When I play sims4 the computer starts to overheat and I can start to hear the fan on. The sound of the fan starts as the Sims game is opening. When I quit the application the sound stops quickly. Is it okay for me to continue using the computer or should I stop playing the game once I hear the fan running?

what even happened bro i have a MacBook air from roughly two-three years ago, and i have downloaded the sims 4 game on it. i notice that the laptops fans go off pretty intensely when im playing but the thing is, recently i was playing and i left it on for about half an hour without making a single move and my screen went completely black and i could only see the mouse and move it around, the fans are still going off btw. i tried opening and closing my macbook, and everytime i do, the screen is still black, i can still move the mouse, the fans still go off but theres nothing else i can see? how can i check if sims is still running? how can i bring back my screen?

Fast fan speeds Hi all, sorry if this is in the wrong sections, I could find a “community” for the MacBook Pro’s. I got my partner a MacBook Pro early 2015 a while back, I upgraded to the 2.9Ghz dual core i5 and 16gb ram and It has the intel iris 6100 graphics. I recently purchased the sims 4 for her and as soon as it loads up the fan is going crazy and it gets super hot. Even with the graphics on low it’s still struggling. I have noticed that before we downloaded the game, every time I used teams for work it was also running loud and hot and I had no other applications running. It’s a 250gb with 56gb available. is it normal that the iOS files are 35gb? thanks, matt

What OS are you using? Current MacBooks don't have fans - do you mean a MacBook Pro?
