Apple news doesn’t work out of the USA ?

I used to have the app and also the widget. Now I traveled out of the USA for a few weeks and I am not able to find the app. I looked in the App Store and it says that I have installed, either way I can’t open the app from the App Store

Apple News app is supported only in US, UK and Australia.
