Go to folder doesn't work.
"go to folder" option is not working. The box opens but it doesn't search the folder. Says the folder doesnt exist

That is correct, it does not search.
You must specify the exact path. For example:
~/Library/Preferences
~/Documents
~/Pictures/Photos Library.photoslibrary/
~/Desktop
/Users/shortUserName/Movies
/Library/Preferences/
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/
