Not responding to Hey Siri
As far as I'm concerned Hey Siri seems reasonably responsive to me. Sometimes it won't hear my first attempt, but I'm fairly sure that is because I've been too quiet or indistinct. When it happens I can always get it to work when I try again. Whether or not it always makes sense of my request is another issue, but I'm gradually finding out what works and what doesn't.

“Hey Siri” is already enabled in settings. The issue is intermittent.
Have you tried resetting the device? Are you leaving a small pause between "Hey Siri" and the rest of your request?

Hi, yes. I’ve been on to Apple Support and they couldnnir explain. Suggested a software update. I am trying to understand if this is widespread.
