Time Machine problem

Several years ago, I was using a different External hard drive, which I don't have anymore.

That hard drive is showing up in Time machine and I am getting a message , which is approximately No back ups for 800 days. Please help.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

Go to System Preferences/Time Machine and remove the drive from the backup disks.
