Why I have 2 Documents folders?

I hope that someone can help.


I have 2 "documents" folders , see my screenshot below, in Finder. , all of the sudden ... how can I have only 1 ?

Thank you Dominic. Chatted with an Apple tech and it turned out a bit more complex to figure out, but all corrected now with easy solution.


Had to select the Control key at the same time as selecting the duplicated "documents" folder. A pop up appears that gives you the option to remove a folder from Finder permanently.
