How can you disable “relative dates” in iOS and display the actual date?

To my knowledge, you can't manage/change this feature on iOS devices.

I've heard that it can be done on MacOS, but I'm not an expert.

I changed it years ago on my MacPro (mid 2012), running Yosemite. I do not recall exact details, I would have to look up what I did. I was suspecting that the iOS would be different, since I could not find any reference to do so.
