OS 10.12.6 Not Catching Spam

Thanks. I am marking them as spam. I reset the junk mail filter and this is what is checked (and what I already had checked):

Enable junk mail filtering

When junk mail arrives, move it to the junk mailbox

Exempt from filter Sender of message is in Contacts & Previous recipients

Trust junk mail filters in messages

Filter junk mail before applying my rules

It's a iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) but I didn't see that option. Can you help with my question? All of a sudden spam styled that way is bypassing my spam filter.
