iPhone X crashing

I have a iPhone X 64 GB running ios 11.2.6, I noticed an issue recently when i would save a PDF from the web and then from the PDF try to "copy to iBooks", it would open iBooks and then restart the springboard. I have tried turning my phone off then back on, closing all other apps, but each time i try to copy to iBooks it restarts/ "crashes" the phone.

Try restarting your phone. To do this, you must follow these instructions:

1) Press the volume Up button

2) Press the volume Down button

3) Press and hold the power button

Keep holding the power button even when it says “Slide to Shut Down”. After about ten seconds, your phone will turn off. Keep holding the power button until the Apple logo pops up, then let go. This should do the trick.
