hi,
i have text next to the battery icon on my new iPhone X that no one knows what it means! Any ideas anyone?

If it is a VPN, then it was probably installed by an application. DO NOT approve VPN installations unless you know what you're doing. See these articles for more technical information on VPNs:

No idea largely because I don't think I can see the full text. Try restarting your device. 🙂
It looks like you may have installed a VPN. Go to Settings>General>VPN and then delete any installed VPNs.

Thanks for your reply. Part of the problem is the text disappears off of the screen so as the screen shot shows it's a partial view.

Also I have restarted the phone, even restored to factory setting but nothing changes.
