Question: New iPhone and transferring data


I have a new iPhone, and have signed into my iCloud however my data has not transferred. It has transferred data from years ago, as there are no recent photos, apps & contacts etc.

I have also backed up my old phone to both my iTunes and iCloud, and retried setting my new phone up as a new phone, and the data is still not transferring

I have had iPhones for many years now, and never had this problem. I called into a store today, and the support I received was appalling. It’s getting very frustrating now.

Try plugging your iPhone into a computer. Then launch the iTunes app on the computer. From there, you should be able to properly back it up. Another option is to go on your iPhone, Settings>iCloud>iCloud Backup>Backup Now
