Computer does not have an ip address
I get the following message: The computer is connected to internet but The computer does not have an ip address
Be sure your Network preferences are correct. Is the connection active - has a green dot beside it? Select the connection from the list, click on the Advanced button then click on the TCP tab. This will reveal IP addresses for the connection.
