Protection plan for my iPad..

I do not have a purchase receipt for my iPad. It was a gift at Christmas and I want to purchase a protection plan now. Any ideas?

iPad Wi-Fi, iOS 11.2.6

Have you tried asking whoever gave it to you for a copy of the receipt? If they bought it from Apple On-line, they can download a copy by going to Apple.com and scrolling to the bottom. Click on Apple Store account.
