i have an old version of imac 10.9.5 and i cant download garage band etc

hi i am writting to make some questions about what can i do for my problem. To begin with i am 15 years old and i cant speak english fluently so dont judge my spelling mistakes. I have a very old mac (i think 2010) and version 10.9.5 which cant be updated. I were trying to download garage band older versions but nothing could be done. The same thing happend with iphoto etc. Can somebody help me?

Can't Download GarageBand or Final Cut Pro for Older iMac I just reset my iMac (late 2013) to get all the junk off of it. I only use it for cutting music and videos and when I went to re-download GarageBand and Final Cut Pro I can no longer access these programs because of the Monterey OS update. Forums seem to say the App Store should just let me download the most recent version of the programs that's compatible with my system, but apparently that is not happening. It just gives me an error message about needing version 11.0 or higher.

2nd hand iMac won’t let me install any software. Help! I bought a 2nd hand iMac recently; late 2013 model. It’s got an i5 and 8gig ram so I thought it was plenty to run GarageBand and Word, which is all I want it for. However the App Store won’t let me download GarageBand and Word because they require versions of OS X that it will not let me install on my iMac! App Store won’t even give me the option to install the older versions of GarageBand and Word that did run on my version of OS X! This means I have bought a very pretty paper-weight! What do I do?

iMovie will not update I have a 2012 MacBook Pro. I purchased iMovie in 2014. I have been working on a video project that required an update of the operating system to X El Captain Version 10.11.6 in order to use some software to convert VHS tapes to digital files. I upgraded and then iMovie would not work. It said that I needed to update. In the app store when I click update for iMovie, it just spins and nothing happens. I have a project I was working on in iMovie and now I cannot access it at all. How do I update iMovie so that it will work again with this new operating system? Thank you
