When is Apple going to fix the auto play features on TV shows?

If Hulu and Netflix and Goggle and Amazon and Samsung can do auto play for the next PURCHASED TV show, why can’t you. I spend anywhere between $20 to $40 in the iTunes Store for TV shows I would like this feature back. I am almost to the point of not even bothering with purchasing any more TV Shows from apple. I’ll purchase it through Xfinity or Amazon where that feature is available. I don’t want to stop what I’m doing to go back to a season and hit play for the next episode. Just imagine cooking or driving and your child is watching a tv show and then after 15 to 20 minutes starts crying because you have to go back and select the next episode. APPLE I’ve been a loyal customer for well over a decade but you have to bring this feature back.
