Whether I use Command-C, Command-V or the dropdown menu, the paste function doesn't happen. There is nothing on the clipboard. I've been trying all sorts of 'fixes' from various other users to no avail. Thank you for trying to help me.
Several other people have been asking for help on this same issue, starting a few days ago. I postponed the software update until this morning, so it didn't happen to me until then. Now that it's fixed, though, I'm a bit worried about letting the next update go through. I already received the notification of the update, which I assume is the supplemental for macOS 10.13.3. Not sure I should do it. : (
What does "stopped working" mean exactly? What are the precise symptoms?
Once you do a copy, try opening Finder and using Finder's menu to do Edit > Show Clipboard. What do you see?
No, I don't think so. But I re-installed High Sierra and that seems to have solved the problem. Thanks, again!
Glad it's solved! As I said, this is a problem I never heard about before.
Enjoy your Apple gear.
You should absolutely install the supplemental update. It was released February 19. (I have been successfully using it since that date.)

Not mine. I suggest you look elsewhere for the cause.
