green cursor

I have a Mac mini late 2012 with High Sierra 10.13.3. When I turn on my system the Cursor will change to a large green cursor outlined in pink. Also after last update, when I log in I don't see my desk top page until after I put in my pass word, but all I see is a Grey screen with a place to log in, before I would see my desk top page with a place to log in. Is this part of the new upgrade or do I have a problem to correct, if so how? Thanks .

glitch (green) Here is a thing, I updated my mac software to mac os catallina 10.15.5. the next day, i opened my mac and as usual input my password, and then it's loading. but when the loading came to the end, suddenly i saw a glitch (green) just for a second and it came back to the loading part with black wallpaper (if nothing happen then usually when you log in, the background will be the rocky mountain with purple pinkish sky right?) and then it logged in. can you tell me how to stop the glitch?
