Adobe Acrobat won't let me download Chrome

I have tried numerous times to download Chrome -mainly to use for a particular brain game website but every time I try to download it Adobe Acrobat (for some strange reason) comes up and says it is an unsupported file. Is there something I need to change on my computer? Thanks for any help!
