Photos app on my MacBook allows items to include information accessible via an Info button on the task bar.
Photos on iCloud website is lacking that Info button.
How can I access item information on the iCloud Photos webpage without the Info button on the task bar?

As far as I can tell, you can't access any metadata via the website. Worse, if you download an image from the website using a web browser rather than Photos, the title, description and keywords are all removed - just like in iCloud Photo Sharing, which makes the whole thing useless for my family, and I ended up using OneDrive instead. It is very frustrating. The only way around it is to include key text in the filename.
That is no currently a feature of iCloud/Photos - you can see the info in Photos for Mac (where you posted)

Thanks, Aearenda. Truth be told, that's exactly what we're doing: switching to OneDrive. I expect Apple to take notice and stop stripping functionality from their limited interfaces.
