my email keeps showing my old name instead of my new married name. So my husband sees my old married name when I send him an email and I have no idea how to change it.

Go into your email account and change your name. You are the one that sets that for your mail account. And, he may need to check his address book to ensure that he has changed your contact to reflect the change as well.

Go to Settings>Accounts & Passwords, then choose the account you wish to change. Then Tap the Account name again, that will bring you to a page to enter your name.

Thanks Philly_Phan! Apple needs to fix their house! What the ****!? I legally changed my name for a reason, they better fix this or i'm going to insist they create me a whole new account and transfer over all my purchases!

I'm having the same issue, tried the suggestion and it didn't work!

Did you try to sign in from apple web site and edit in your account first and middle and user name.

I have the same issue and I tried all of the above suggestions, still doesn't work. When i email my work email from my icloud account it displays my old name.

If the email address is dot-mac, dot-icloud or dot-me, Apple shouts "Gotcha" and you can't change.

Good luck with that.

I tried too....I guess they want you to delete your account then try to sign up again....forget that. They're ridiculous.

... change the husband! Easier than changing Apple (possibly even cheaper :-)
